From early on, I have always loved Interior Design and Architecture. Inspiration for a room design starts with some scribbles, sketches and notes…
These humble beginnings evolved into the wonderful places and spaces that surround us and shape our lives. Being a part of that transformation is the most incredible thing. I never tire of seeing a project come to fruition on installation day or to complete a final walk-through after a great renovation.
My design career began with a High school internship at an Architectural Firm as a CAD drafter. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2001 with a BFA in Interior Design. From there, my professional experience covers a broad range. I have worked in commercial architecture and completed some small scale commercial office projects. I have sold custom upholstery, lighting and flooring in a variety of retail environments. I was a project manager, designer and service manager for a custom closet manufacturer. I have worked behind the scenes for two residential designers assisting in every aspect of their work. I became a Certified Interior Designer by passing the NCIDQ licensing exam in 2017.
Avenue Interiors began in 2016 as the culmination of my experience and passionate dedication to the design industry. I hope to bring my experience, love of design, and knowledge to your design project.
Thank you for being a part of this exciting adventure!
